Frogfurlong Cottage nestles at the end of a lane in a quiet rural location near the village of Down Hatherley, Gloucester. There are ample parking spaces if you arrive by car. The glorious photo above shows a typical evening sunset with views across to Gloucester cathedral. On a quiet evening you may be lucky enough to see Roe deer strolling across the fields in the distance.
Both the Courtyard Room and Garden Room are self contained and our guests will have their own keys. Each morning breakfast will be ready for you in the main house dining room, between 7.30 and 9.45am.

We prepare a full English breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and tomatoes to start your day, with a selection of fresh fruit, juice, cereals, and a variety of yoghurt. Toast can be accompanied by honey or home-made preserves. We try to use local produce whenever possible and so the sausages, bacon and eggs are sourced from farmers nearby. Catering is also provided for vegetarians and other dietary needs.
We are unable to offer evening meals but there are several public houses nearby that offer fantastic meals and supply fine local ales.
We do hope you’ll be staying with us soon to enjoy the surrounding countryside and local sights.
